About The Position

WCTractor is a family-owned Kubota and New Holland equipment dealership with 15 locations across Central and East Texas, in business since 1939. The company prides itself on taking care of its customers and employees. As a Yard Porter, the role is crucial for maintaining a sharp-looking lot and creating a great first impression for customers. The position involves spending most of the day outdoors and in the shop, cleaning and moving equipment, keeping the yard and facilities in order, and assisting the team as needed. The job is dynamic, with no two days being exactly the same.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and stay on your feet most of the day
• Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to complete tasks without constant supervision
• Basic computer skills required; you'll use our dealer management system (CDK) to log equipment movements and updates

Nice To Haves

• Forklift or equipment operation experience

Responsibilities

• Washing, wiping down, and prepping equipment for display and sale
• Mowing, edging, and maintaining the yard and surrounding grounds
• Moving and staging equipment and displays around the lot and shop
• Operating (or learning to operate) forklifts and agricultural/turf/light construction equipment
• Loading and strapping equipment to trailers as needed
• General shop and facility maintenance
• Running errands and other duties as assigned
