What you’ll be doing: Shoveling material, sweeping around the plant and hosing down the yard Driving forklift, backhoe or loader to move rock into bins for the conveyor Keeping reclaim ponds clean so trucks can continue to unload their extra ready mix material Helping mechanics fix plants when issues arise Moving or loading material from one location to another, operating heavy duty equipment Landscaping that includes weeding and raking Emptying bins/garbage from main office or plants when full or requested This is the right opportunity for you if you: Love to work independently Like to work outdoors, in any weather Take pride in the work that you do and are focused on efficiency and reliability each day! Requirements
- Dependable transportation
- Ability to follow verbal and written instruction
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to start work at 6 AM, or earlier, work flexible hours, overtime, and Saturdays
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- Loader and/or forklift experience is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Shoveling material, sweeping around the plant and hosing down the yard
