About The Position

Responsible for managing and directing all operational activities across the Yard, Rail, Long-Term Storage Management, and Truck Load Lines to support the achievement of company objectives. Ensures efficient vehicle flow through the yard, proactively eliminating bottlenecks and process interruptions. Oversees load lanes to maintain a First-In, First-Out (FIFO) shipping process. Leads with a strong commitment to safety, fostering a culture where safety is the top priority in all operations.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree
  • 7-10 years of direct job experience, 5 years of indirect job experience, 4-7 years of supervisory experience
  • Manufacturing and logistics experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement daily operational plans that align with company goals.
  • Ensures all departments adhere to safety standards and company policies, customer requirements, and federal state, and local regulations.
  • Effectively communicate operational plans to relevant departments and team members to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Create, maintain, and monitor production plans for Yard, Rail, Long-tern Storage Management, and truck loading operations to support business objectives.
  • Enforce production and quality control standards to ensure consistent performance and continuous improvement.
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve issues in the Yard, Truck and Rail Loading Lanes to prevent disruptions and ensure continuous vehicle movement.
  • Ensure training procedures and documentation are up to date and effectively support team development and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to understand their needs and develop actionable plans to meet those expectations
  • Ensure inventory is managed and shipped using a First-In, First-Out (FIFO) approach, prioritizing oldest inventory to maintain flow and minimize aging stock
