Day Shift Yard Loader Operator
About The Position

What You'll Be Doing Operate a yard loader to safely move, load, and stockpile sand and gravel materials Maintain equipment through routine inspections and basic preventative care Monitor material quality and communicate issues promptly Support plant operations by assisting with cleanup and general labor as needed Follow all safety procedures to ensure a secure and efficient worksite
Requirements
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong awareness of surroundings and commitment to safe work practices
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfort working in fast‑paced, production‑focused environments
- Reliability, adaptability, and willingness to learn
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, and reach as part of daily equipment operation and plant activities
- Capability to lift and carry materials or tools up to 50 pounds as needed
- Comfort working on uneven terrain and in areas with varying ground conditions
- Ability to maintain focus and safely operate equipment for extended periods
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check
