About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Ensures compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures. Conduct a complete pre- and post-shift safety inspection daily. Responsible for knowing aggregate products. Able to estimate weight when loading trucks either visually or grade, maintain stockpiles. Load customer trucks in a safe and accurate manner.
Requirements
- Prefer high school diploma or general education (GED)
- Prefer two years of heavy equipment experience
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Nice To Haves
- Open pit mining operations and aggregate products experience is a plus
- MSHA training a plus
