About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. The role involves operating a yard loader to move and load materials safely and efficiently, performing routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance, maintaining stockpiles, and ensuring material is properly stored and accessible. The position requires communication with dispatch and team members to coordinate loading activities, loading customer trucks with different stone products, following all safety procedures, and contributing to a clean, organized yard. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard loader to move and load materials safely and efficiently
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Maintain stockpiles and ensure material is properly stored and accessible
• Communicate with dispatch and team members to coordinate loading activities
• Load customer trucks with different stone products
• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized yard
• Perform other duties as needed
