Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Yard Jockey . Schedule - Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm (with overtime as required).
Requirements
- 0-3 years Warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred, but not required.
- Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
- Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
- High attention to detail.
- Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.
- Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
- Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs regularly.
- Ability to read, understand, and demonstrate safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Responsibilities
- Correctly move trailers in and out of dock with yard goats
- Responsible for drop and hook
- Accurately perform yard audits at end of shift
- Proper pre- and post-trip inspections and submitting reports indicating truck conditions
- Adhere to guidelines of safety-sensitive functions pertaining to job responsibilities within yard
- Request and complete trailer moves in the Yard Management System (YMS)
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
