Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Must be at least 21 years of age
Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Valid and updated medical certification
Must work in a team environment
Maintain adherence to work hours scheduled specifically starting, ending, lunch and break schedules
Perform all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations and safety guidelines
Be accountable to the Turkey Hill Food Safety and Quality Principles

Responsibilities

Drive tractor-trailers to designated bay or spot according to needs of warehousing and production in a timely manner.
Inspect loaded trailer temperature gauges to ensure proper temperatures are maintained before the driver's scheduled arrival time.
Inspect truck for defects before and after trips notify the Garage department of any mechanical problems.
Take direction from Shipping Clerk for assigned moves via radio communication.
Utilize Electronic Logging Device (ELD) to log daily activity.
Maintain fuel, oil, and water levels in all units, as assigned.
Responsible to shuttle product/materials to and from off-site warehousing and/or drop-off sites, as assigned.
Maintain orderly and clean work environment.
Perform all duties in compliance with all corporate and regulatory quality, GLP, and safety regulations.
Perform all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and FSMA guidelines as well as all safety regulations.
Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Food Safety and Quality.
Demonstrate the ability to engage work in department and cross-functional teams to define and implement process improvements that provide value to the customer.
Be accountable to the Turkey Hill Food Safety and Quality Principles.
Perform all other duties as assigned
