Yard Jockey/Warehouse Associate – Shippensburg, PA Office

Summary/Objective

With 44 years in business, NOTS Logistics proudly serves the logistical needs of clients throughout the nation, including our new expansion into Pennsylvania. NOTS Logistics, LLC is currently seeking a Yard Jockey/Warehouse Associate combo position candidate for our Shippensburg, PA warehouse facility. Our Yard Jockey/Warehouse Associate combo position requires a Class A CDL and includes up to 50% weekly driving time.

Requirements

• Class A CDL (Required)
• 2 Years of Class A CDL Driving Experience (Required)
• Basic knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) laws and mandates.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and road test.
• Above-average driving record
• Responsible for compliance with company HR and safety policies/procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Stage trailers to be loaded/unloaded, filling orders, receiving and storing product in the warehouse. This will include actively spotting trailers, pulling orders and/or assisting personnel as deemed necessary.
• Manage warehouse/yard equipment and assets by assisting the Warehouse Supervisor in ensuring proper care of forklifts/spotter truck and maintenance is completed.
• Checks completed orders for accuracy and compliance with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures for NOTS Logistics and our customer.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Adheres to company policies and procedures. Reports any concerns.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
