About The Position

National Shunt Service LLC is seeking part-time yard jockeys to efficiently manage trailer movements within the facility. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of operations during weekends, ensuring that trailers are safely moved in and out of dock doors and that communication with warehouse staff is maintained.

Requirements

• CDL A Driver's License
• Entry level experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently move trailers in and out of dock doors, within and between facility buildings.
• Routine communication with warehouse regarding the placement of trailers both in door and in the drop lot.
• Daily inspection of yard truck, monitoring truck condition and communicate with supervisors when repair(s) is/are required.
• Utilize software to receive and complete moves on an as-needed basis.
• Continuously follow safe operating procedures.
• Inspect trailers.
• Other duties as assigned.
