The position involves jockeying trailers under the direction of a supervisor or foreman, loading trucks as needed, and performing all other assigned duties. The role requires preparation for the day by completing a Vehicle Condition Report (VCR) for the jockey truck and forklift (if applicable), organizing and cleaning the work area, and moving trailers from the lot to dock doors and back as directed. The employee will work with the foreman and supervisor to move raw material loads to doors as needed, install or remove trailer stands, and review Bills of Lading (BOL) for products to be loaded. Final certification for all outbound loads must be completed, and any out-of-stock items should be reported to the foreman. The employee is responsible for wrapping any partial pallets when complete, processing paperwork in the National Inventory System (NIS), staging pallets, and cleaning up the work area by completing partial pallets and putting away mixed pallets.
