About The Position

This is a yard switching position moving 48ft tractor trailers and 28ft straight trucks throughout the yard and to docks using a yard horse. Overtime hours, working weekends and holidays, and starting at various start times are required in order to successfully meet the business needs. CDL CLASS A REQUIRED CDL A: $25.50/hr. Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Plan, Life Insurance Time off Package which includes Vacation, Sick and Holidays No touch freight or heavy lifting Shift: Training Schedule : Rotating schedule, start times: 10am, 3pm, 6pm (all are required) One weekend day required (must be willing to work a Saturday or Sunday) Days off: Saturday OR Sunday and one day in the middle of the week Yard Jockey Apprentice Training Requirements: 400-600 training hours (paid training) Successfully complete required hours of training and pass all required work, safety knowledge and driving assessments 21+ years of age Valid Class A Commercial Driver License with a clean MVR Possess and be able to present a valid non-expired interstate Medical Examiner's Certificate Card Willing to complete 400-600 apprentice training hours Pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check, Employment Verification). Must be able to pass a Clearing House Query Ability to work in all weather conditions Experience using a yard horse preferred but not required Must have the availability to work overtime hours,and holiday's

Requirements

21+ years of age
Valid Class A Commercial Driver License with a clean MVR
Possess and be able to present a valid non-expired interstate Medical Examiner's Certificate Card
Willing to complete 400-600 apprentice training hours
Pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check, Employment Verification)
Must be able to pass a Clearing House Query
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Must have the availability to work overtime hours,and holiday's
