Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of driving experience.
• Valid non-commercial driver's license.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift.

Nice To Haves

• Hostler/yard truck driving experience (moving trailers within a yard or distribution center environment).
• Onboard computer and electronic log system experience (i.e., PeopleNet).

Responsibilities

• Move tractor trailers to/from the loading docks and parking loaded or empty trailers in designated areas in a safe and timely manner.
• Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally.
• Perform inspections and move trailers safely following all DOT regulations and company safe-driving policies.
• Fuel, move, and park tractors and trailers to the docks.
• Transport tractor trailers to offsite maintenance and/or inspection facilities.
• Secure trucks, trailers, and equipment at all times.
• Complete all required documentation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
