About The Position

Baker Hughes Process & Pipeline Services (PPS) is the global leader in pipeline inspection, pre-commissioning, and maintenance services. Our engineered solutions for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and maintenance shutdowns include specialized services for the oil and gas, power generation, metals and mining, and other process industries. The Yard Helper will demonstrate knowledge of basic pipe fittings, pump types, and structural steel and have a proven initiative in increasing knowledge of products, processes, and equipment as well as safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma/GED
• Possess valid US driver's license
• Be computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Performing shipping and receiving duties.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Inspecting and cleaning equipment returned from field projects.
• Storing and putting equipment away to help with equipment preservation.
• Organizing inventory of fittings and hoses.
• Assisting with testing of hoses and pipework in the yard.
• Operating a forklift safely.
