About The Position

We are looking for a safety conscious Yard/Forklift Operator to join our team in Buckeye, AZ. JOB SUMMARY: The Yard Equipment Operator is responsible for safely moving, loading, and unloading materials using forklifts and/or other types of equipment in a manufacturing setting.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months experience operating a forklift, preferred.
• Ability to pass internal forklift certification.
• Ability to read and understand loading requisitions.

Responsibilities

• Load, rig steel joists and/or girders on trailers as assigned.
• Assist with loading and unloading material in shop as needed.
• Assist with steel joist bundles and yard layout as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required.
