About The Position

This position is responsible for operating trucks and moving trailers in and out of loading areas while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

MVR requirements
Must be able to drive 18 Wheelers on the yard.
Must be 18 years of age, have a current valid state issued driver’s license no DUI/DWI conviction within the past 12 months and fewer than 4 points based on evaluation system.
Proficiency in reading and writing.
ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Team members will be required to use all safety devices such as dock locks/wheel chocks/jack stands and salvo locks.
Team members must be willing to ensure trailers are sealed.
Team members will be required to do routine temperature checks of trailers.
Team members must follow all safety rules.
Team members must work well with others.
