About The Position
This position is responsible for operating trucks and moving trailers in and out of loading areas while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Requirements
- MVR requirements
- Must be able to drive 18 Wheelers on the yard.
- Must be 18 years of age, have a current valid state issued driver’s license no DUI/DWI conviction within the past 12 months.
- Proficiency in reading and writing.
- ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels
- The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Team members will be required to use all safety devices such as dock locks/wheel chocks/jack stands and salvo locks.
- Team members must be willing to ensure trailers are sealed.
- Team members will be required to do routine temperature checks of trailers.
- Team members must follow all safety rules.
- Team members must work well with others.
