About The Position

As a Yard Driver, you will be responsible for maintaining yard organization and safely spotting trailers at dock doors and throughout the yard. CDL licensed Yard Drivers may be asked to move trailers to offsite locations and neighboring distribution centers. In this role, you will also update trailer moves or any yard activity via a hand-held device.

Requirements

• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid, active Commercial Driver's License
• Ability to load and unload heavy items
• High school diploma and/or GED
• 1 year of work experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain yard organization
• Safely spot trailers at dock doors and throughout the yard
• Move trailers to offsite locations and neighboring distribution centers (for CDL licensed Yard Drivers)
• Update trailer moves or any yard activity via a hand-held device
• Perform general warehouse tasks as needed
• Conduct daily inspections on yard equipment
• Drive yard trucks and spot at designated locations
• Ensure yard accuracy by leveraging the Yard Management System
