About The Position

Job Details: The starting pay for this position is $19.85/hr. with a shift increase for third shift and potential for overtime. We currently have an opening on third shift. WORK SCHEDULE: Work Monday thru Friday or as needed; some weekend work may be required. Caseyville Illinois location is not accepting rehires. Tyson is currently in the process of expanding our operations in Caseyville with an $181 million dollar investment to add 7 new state of the art production lines to our current 4 production lines. With automated warehousing and robotics at the heart of this expansion the facility will be a Flagship of the Prepared Foods division. The facility currently produces Jimmy Dean and Hillshire branded retail products and the expansion will further develop our capabilities. POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for moving trailers in and out of loading areas, assist in the warehouse with material handling and shipping/receiving responsibilities. Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
Requirements
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- The individual must maintain a valid driver’s license at all times while in the position.
- Associate must meet requirements to operate powered industrial trucks safely.
- Associate must meet requirements to operate tractors and move trailers safely in a confined yard area with excellent night vision.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must not have any DUI/DWI convictions within the last 12 months
- One-year relevant trailer spotting experience
- Six months pallet jack/fork lift experience
Nice To Haves
- CDL preferred, not required.
