About the position

The position involves repositioning company commercial tractors and trailers in designated non-highway areas, specifically the yard, which includes backing trailers to dock doors. The role may also require shuttling tractor/trailers to and from logistic/lease companies. The hourly rate for this position is $26, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, starting between 4am and 10am based on business needs. The job location is at 10252 E 51st Ave, Denver, CO 80239.

Responsibilities

  • Moving and operation of tractor/trailer.
  • Walking the yard to identify and document vehicle defects in the DVCR booklet.
  • Communicating maintenance needs to D&S Team Leaders daily.
  • Obtaining tractor/trailer list from D&S, recording odometer, hub readings, and engine hours from equipment, and sending to lease company weekly.
  • Ensuring trailers loaded with refrigerated products are at adequate temperature.
  • Assisting Warehouse Team Members with trailers to unload and/or load.
  • Repositioning tractor/trailers on the yard to and from docks.
  • Complying with Domino’s Chock, Safety Cone, and Dock Signal Light policy.
  • Shuttling tractor/trailers to and from the logistic supplier.
  • Taking trailers to be washed and cleaned.
  • Assisting with backhauls.
  • May be assigned to assist Drivers on designated routes to unload products to Domino's stores.
  • Listening to and timely assisting management and Drivers.
  • Wearing and following Domino’s uniform standards.
  • Attending scheduled safety, team meetings, and training sessions.
  • Following all local, state, federal, and Domino's safety rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Attending classroom instruction facilitated by the Delivery and Service Team Leader.
  • Completing necessary paperwork.
  • Maintaining DVIR booklets.
  • Complying with DOT log regulations.
  • Being accountable for the vehicle and product.
  • Clocking in and out in timekeeping and People Net system.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Six months of verifiable CMV driving experience, one year preferred.
  • Proof of 25,000 verifiable miles of CMV driving experience preferred.
  • Must have a valid class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Air Brakes.
  • Must maintain a DOT Med Cert.
  • Must always meet the defined MVR standards to remain qualified to drive company commercial motor vehicle.
  • Must successfully pass a background check every third year on your anniversary date.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as short notice on occasion.
