About The Position

The Yard Driver position at Tyson Foods is a full-time role on the 3rd shift at the Carthage Plant (Choctaw). The primary responsibility of this position is to retrieve rendering trailers that have been visually inspected before and after loading offal, feathers, premium parts, and/or bone residue. After loading and weighing the trailer, it will be parked on the drain pad for excess water removal. Each trailer must be acknowledged by management for time, trailer number, and loading status. Any trailer marked as rejected must be returned to an acceptable status before loading or hauling. The role requires climbing in and out of the truck and working in varying outdoor temperatures. Safety equipment such as goggles, hair nets, beard nets, smocks, boots, rubber gloves, cotton sleeves, and hearing protection is mandatory.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Willingness to have MVR run with no DUI or DWIs within the last 12 months.
• Rehires must wait 365 days to be eligible for rehire and have no more than 3 rehires.

Responsibilities
