As a 1st Shift Yard Driver Non-DOT, you will drive switching equipment, tractors, and straight trucks to transport goods or equipment to and from designated locations. You will make decisions in sequencing schedule to maintain efficient loading and unloading operations, load and unload trailers, and verify product count. You will also maintain a clean and safe docking area, report any maintenance or safety issues to supervision, and refuel vehicles on site while documenting locations and condition of equipment. You must be willing to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) when yard duties are not available, including forklifts, split fork, push-pull, and tugger operation.
