Performing an inspection of the Yard Truck prior to operation. Properly hooking and unhooking to trailers. Inspecting trailers for damage/unsafe conditions and reporting them to management. Properly closing, latching, and sealing loaded trailers. Must adhere to all site safety rules. Occasional operation of an Armadillo Street sweeper when conditions are favorable. Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Yard. Occasional conduction of a Fuel Check. Making sure all loaded trailer's Refrigeration Unit is running. Checking for adequate fuel level. Reporting any issues/alarms found with a unit to management.

Requirements

• 6 months - 1-year prior Over-the-Road and/or Yard Truck driving experience required
• Experience must include hauling 53' trailers
• No manual transmission experience required
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of one year verifiable experience driving, switching or commercial tractor

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Refrigeration Units preferred
