About The Position

Kemps Dairy has immediate job openings for dependable FT CDL-A Yard Truck Drivers to drive truck or tractor at vehicle parking, yard or docking areas to move, position or park trucks and trailers to facilitate shipping and receiving functions. Transport trucks and trailers for repairs, as necessary, according to policies and procedures and safety protocols. May also operate wash bay using all necessary equipment to clean tractors and trailers. Keep the yard neat and orderly. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Tractor/trailer experience, within the last five years preferred
Must meet minimum age requirements
Meet all DOT requirements
Meet Dairy Farmers of America Motor Vehicle Record requirements
Certification and/or License – Current CDL (Class A) license in state of residence; current tanker endorsement if needed
Understanding of DOT transportation regulations related to lawful operation
Able to work safely and recognize sudden hazards and adjust accordingly
Able to use computers and technology needed for the job
Skills with math sufficient to calculate load size
Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Able to interact positively and work effectively with others (interpersonal skills)
Able to be proactive in seeking solutions, taking appropriate steps for problem-solving
Able to work in collaboration effectively and foster good teamwork
Able to follow directions and meet deadlines
Able to interpret and apply company policies
