2nd Shift Yard Dog Operator/Shipping
About The Position
Responsible for operating a yard dog truck, moving and transporting trailers and ensuring trailers are ready for loading and unloading and preparing items for shipment. Nice To Haves
- Truck driving/flatbed experience preferred
- Lumber knowledge preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate yard dog truck
- Move trailers into specific locations for loading and unloading
- Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment
- Lubricates truck, recharges batteries, and fills fuel tank.
- Assists in housekeeping and clean-up activities as needed.
