About The Position

Primarily responsible for operating yard dog and tractor trailer vehicles to transport live poultry from parking lot area to the receiving processing area, exercising safe driving practices ensuring their safety and the safety of the public.

Responsibilities

• Individual will obtain trucks from the holding/cooling shed that are filled with chickens and drive them to the live receiving dock.
• Individual will drive the empty trailer to the yard.
• Individual will re-weigh the loaded trailers before going to receiving.
• Individual will weigh any loads that were brought in during the day.
• Individual will help direct where the empty cages should be stacked on the outgoing truck.
