  • Operate all equipment safely and according to company policy.
  • Complete equipment safety inspection sheets at the beginning of each shift.
  • Load clients accurately with landscape products.
  • Unload inventory and stock in proper locations.
  • Load company trucks with proper pattern and weight distribution.
  • Ensure all inventory is tagged as it is received.
  • Hook up trailers and unhook concrete mixer trailer according to policy.
  • Check in/out trailers according to policy.
  • Work with office staff on receiving and shipping paperwork.
  • Pull orders from pick tickets and prepare for willcalls/deliveries.
  • Verify all outbound orders for accuracy before loading.
  • Perform housekeeping duties for a safe work environment.
  • Read and write English to complete paperwork.
  • Treat clients and co-workers with respect at all times.
  • Be flexible to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
  • Maintain consistent and dependable attendance and work practices.
  • Perform minor maintenance functions on equipment as required.
  • Must have a valid California Driver's License.
  • Experience operating a forklift and/or wheel loader preferred but not necessary.
  • Experience in the construction industry preferred.
  • Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 100lbs).
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
