About The Position

The Yard Attendant is responsible for ensuring the organization, cleanliness, and safe operation of the service lot and surrounding areas. This role plays a critical part in supporting the service department by moving and staging trailers, maintaining lot and wash bay conditions, and assisting with routine operational needs. The Yard Attendant works closely with the Service Manager and Assistant Service Manager to maintain efficiency, safety, and readiness across the facility. Safety bonuses are available immediately.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
• Ability to safely operate equipment used for moving trailers (training provided if needed.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull as needed.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and working outdoors for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, trucking, or service environment preferred.
• Experience operating tractors, forklifts, or other yard equipment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers in and out of service bays to assist shop technicians.
• Wash and clean both service and sales trailers.
• Maintain organization of trailers throughout the yard.
• Pick up trash and ensure the yard remains clean and presentable at all times.
• Perform monthly yard dragging to maintain surface conditions.
• Check in incoming trailers and apply appropriate stickers/labels.
• Performance other duties as assigned.
