Yard Associate
About The Position
Yard Associate This full-time position will focus on duties such as stocking the yard area, warehouse areas, shipping and receiving of products, loading/unloading trucks. The workweek is Monday through Friday, with an opportunity for overtime during the busy season. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. SRS Distribution offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime based on business needs. Depending on the role, associates may also be eligible for performance-based bonus programs, commissions, car allowance or automobile and fuel program, and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy.
Requirements
- Basic computer knowledge and Internet use
- Forklift experience helpful, not required
- Ability to lift 75 pounds; 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is helpful , but not required
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities
- Stocking, receiving, pulling, and staging all yard/warehouse products.
- Loading, unloading, and securing product for customers, delivery vehicles, and inbound trucks.
- Keeping yard area neat and organized.
- Operating Forklifts in outdoor environments.
- Focusing on safe work practices, such as wearing PPE, proper lifting techniques, etc., while performing daily duties and using company equipment.
- Other related duties as assigned such as receiving etc.
