About The Position

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a part time seasonal strong leader with proven relationship-building and communication skills to serve as a Y Engagement and Solutions Center Service Associate. This part time seasonal position starts at $18.00 per hour. Candidates will be required to work a 35-40 hour week - anytime between 8am-6pm (Mon.- Fri.). DUTIES Responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members, participants, staff, and community members by answering inquiries, resolving problems, fulfilling requests, making recommendations, maintaining and updating databases, performing accurate data entry, collecting dues and program fees, account management, and Association records management. This work is performed via telephone and email. Serves as liaison to the branches for Daxko Operations questions/problems and enters branch program information in a consistent and timely manner.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of four years of previous customer service experience.
  • Ability to stay calm and maintain an empathetic and professional demeanor with callers at all times.
  • Proficiency in computer skills including word processing spreadsheet, and database management is required.
  • Candidates should have an outgoing and positive demeanor, a positive work ethic, and demonstrated experience working in a team environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of three years working with Daxko Operations preferred.
