The Y'Bar Food Server position is a full-time role located at 27500 East Timberline Road, Government Camp, OR 97028, expected to start in November or December, coinciding with the winter season. The Y'Bar is situated next to the Wy'East Café in the Wy'East Day Lodge and is known for its family-friendly atmosphere. It offers hearty après-ski food, craft ales from Mt. Hood Brewing Co., and a full bar. The establishment features large glass doors that provide expansive views of the outdoor sun deck, Mt. Jefferson, and the Cascade Mountain Range. As a food server, you will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, taking beverage and food orders, clearing tables, filling water glasses, performing stocking and side work, and carrying loaded food trays. Providing outstanding guest service is a key expectation of this role. You will need to possess thorough knowledge of the restaurant and its menu, follow all restaurant guidelines and policies as outlined in the training manual, and adhere to OLCC and food handling guidelines to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. Your duties will include clearing and resetting tables, refilling water, coffee, and tea, completing side work, delivering loaded food trays, and serving tables. You will also be responsible for the proper delivery of soiled dishes and linens to the kitchen, restocking for the next shift, and handling cash sales accurately. Regular and reliable attendance is essential, and you will actively participate in the Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards and promoting a healthy workplace.
