Requirements

Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
State licensure as a radiologic technologist, Florida.

Responsibilities

Perform radiographic procedures on patients, including positioning, image acquisition, and quality control.
Utilize x-ray equipment to create diagnostic images of bones, joints, and soft tissues.
Ensure proper patient positioning and immobilization for optimal image quality.
Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to radiation safety protocols.
Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
Maintain and troubleshoot x-ray equipment, ensuring proper functioning.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging data.
Provide exceptional patient care and comfort during procedures.
May assist with other clinical tasks as needed, such as patient intake or basic first aid.
