Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

• Position patients with high accuracy and select optimal technical exposure factors to ensure diagnostic-quality images while adhering to the ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principle.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications in strict accordance with state/federal regulations and facility protocols, ensuring patient safety throughout the imaging process.
• Guarantee the integrity of the diagnostic record by verifying patient data, applying correct lead markers, and performing final quality checks before submission to PACS.
• Observe patient physiological status during procedures, identifying and reporting abnormal reactions or activity to ensure immediate intervention when necessary.
• Maintain equipment functionality through routine checks and "Lock/Tag Out" safety procedures, while contributing to protocol refinements to improve departmental workflow and imaging standards.
