The position involves setting up equipment and positioning patients for diagnostic x-rays. The individual will assist physicians by performing sterile procedures, developing x-ray films, and maintaining film files and other records. The role also includes participation in quality assessment and continuous quality improvement activities, ensuring compliance with all appropriate safety and infection control standards. All job duties and responsibilities must be performed in a courteous and customer-focused manner according to the Hurley Family Standards of Behavior. The position works under the administrative and technical supervision of the Diagnostic Radiology Supervisor or designee and the medical supervision of the Medical Director of Radiology.
