About The Position

Xfinity is seeking a Retail Sales Consultant to assist and consult with customers on our products and services. This role involves utilizing knowledge, skills, and technology to achieve a world-class sales and service experience. The consultant will work with moderate supervision and is accountable for individual results and impact on the team. The position is based in Danville, VA, and is a full-time role with a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Passionately represent products and services by sharing and demonstrating product and sales know-how with customers.
• Provide product demonstrations to educate customers on full product capabilities to maximize their experience.
• Take a customer-first approach with all customer interactions.
• Listen and evaluate customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Achieve sales and customer experience goals and objectives.
• Provide comprehensive customer onboarding activities and ensure customers fully understand how to use and manage all company products/services.
• Perform operational and administrative tasks.
• Partner with customer care to resolve customer issues, as appropriate.
• Demonstrate sales excellence and professionalism with integrity and a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Comply with all company and retail operational policies and procedures.
• Complete training requirements and actively engage in team huddles and learning.
• Understand the sales compensation plan and its key elements.
• Work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, holidays, variable schedule(s), and overtime as needed.
• May be asked to work in alternate stores outside of home base store.
• Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
• Carry and lift up to 25-pound boxes, stand and move about the store constantly.
