About The Position

As an Assistant Store Manager at Xfinity, you will be responsible for the daily operations of a retail location, ensuring a best-in-class experience for both the store team and customers. Your role will involve providing leadership, guidance, coaching, and motivation to the retail sales team to achieve superior customer experiences and desired sales results. You will promote a performance-based culture, mentor employees for professional development, and collaborate with other store leaders to ensure operational goals are met. Additionally, you will maintain the store environment according to established planograms and manage inventory effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage sales floor operations effectively.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Achieves all sales and service metrics through daily supervision, coaching, and performance management of the retail sales team.
  • Proactively coaches and develops store team to perform their responsibilities at a high level.
  • Provides onboarding support and feedback to new hires to ensure they are on track with their training.
  • Ensures store environment follows published planograms and branding standards.
  • Oversees daily sales floor responsibilities including staffing, scheduling, and customer escalations.
  • Drives operational excellence with a focus on inventory management.
  • Leads store inventory cycle counts ensuring compliance with requirements.
  • Reviews store reports for improvement opportunities in sales, inventory, and productivity.
  • Coaches team members on product positioning.
  • Administers cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Builds collaborative relationships with market and region stakeholders.
