About The Position

As a Field Sales Consultant at Xfinity, you will be responsible for the promotion and sale of Comcast products and services, including video, high-speed Internet, voice, and XFINITY Home. This role requires advanced knowledge of Comcast's offerings and sales processes to maximize sales within your assigned territory. You will engage with customers directly, utilizing your expertise to evaluate their needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of Comcast products and promotes offerings to individual customers by canvassing assigned territory.
  • Displays thorough knowledge of competitive features, benefits, product differences, pricing, and campaigns.
  • Communicates effectively and develops rapport with customers.
  • Evaluates customers' existing and potential product needs and makes recommendations.
  • Increases customer understanding of Comcast products and competitive advantages.
  • Frames responses to competitive offers to highlight Comcast's benefits.
  • Creates and executes turf management plans independently.
  • Utilizes experience-based sales techniques and operates independently.
  • Meets and exceeds sales goals established by the local market.
  • Generates business through approved lead generation methods.
  • Implements effective sales closing techniques to achieve product installation goals.
  • Maintains a consistent record of success in residential canvassing sales.
  • Demonstrates strong technical capability and customer service skills.
  • Meets physical requirements, including walking door-to-door in various weather conditions.
  • Obtains and maintains necessary credentials and licenses for selling alarm systems.
  • Exercises independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
  • Maintains regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
  • Works nights, weekends, and variable schedules as necessary.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $58,000 plus potential annual commission of $25,500.
  • Total target compensation of $83,500.
