About The Position

As an Assistant Store Manager at Xfinity, you will be responsible for the daily operations of a retail location, ensuring a best-in-class experience for both the store team and customers. Your role will involve providing leadership, guidance, coaching, and motivation to the retail sales team to deliver superior customer experiences and achieve sales results. You will collaborate with other store leaders and staff to create synergies and ensure operational goals are met, while maintaining a store environment that aligns with established planograms and branding standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong coaching and customer experience skills.
  • Ability to manage sales teams effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Achieves all sales and service metrics through daily supervision, coaching and consistent performance-management of retail sales team.
  • Proactively coaches and develops store team to perform their responsibilities at a high level.
  • Provides on-boarding support, observes and provides feedback to new hires to ensure they are on-track with their training curriculum.
  • Ensures store environment consistently follows published planograms and branding standards.
  • Oversees all daily sales floor responsibilities, including staffing and scheduling, dress code compliance, and resolution of customer escalations.
  • Drives store operations consistency with detailed orientation to back of house standards and showroom floor processes.
  • Evaluates current processes and procedures for improvement and innovation.
  • Drives operational excellence with a focus on inventory management.
  • Leads store inventory cycle counts ensuring compliance with store and company requirements.
  • Reviews store reports for improvement opportunities in sales, inventory, cash handling, and productivity.
  • Coaches team members on product positioning with customers.
  • Ensures customers are treated with the highest levels of courtesy and professionalism.
  • Remains current on new products and services, industry trends, and reinforces findings with the team.
  • Administers cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Monitors customer feedback and takes action to improve the store experience.
  • Builds collaborative relationships with market and region stakeholders.
