Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent X-Ray Technologist experience
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Current ARRT certification
• Active New York State Limited Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T.) License (required)
• Strong technical proficiency in diagnostic radiology
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• High level of reliability, professionalism, and attention to safety

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare and position patients while clearly explaining procedures to ensure comfort and compliance
• Follow radiation safety standards, including proper shielding and exposure control
• Maintain image quality through adherence to established protocols and quality assurance standards
• Identify and report equipment issues; assist with preventive maintenance and supply management
• Accurately document procedures and verify exam completion in department records
