About The Position

A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to join its diagnostic imaging team on a night-shift contract assignment. The technologist will perform high-quality radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with imaging standards.

Requirements

• Active ARRT (R) certification
• Valid Ohio Radiologic Technologist license (or eligibility)
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent X-Ray experience in an acute care or hospital setting
• Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging protocols
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations as ordered
• Position patients accurately to obtain optimal image quality
• Operate radiographic equipment following safety and radiation protection guidelines
• Verify patient identity and procedure orders prior to imaging
• Maintain accurate documentation and image records
• Ensure equipment readiness and report any malfunctions
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and clinical staff
• Maintain compliance with departmental policies and regulatory standards
