About The Position

Requirements

Associate's Degree in Applied Science, Radiologic Technology from an ARRT-approved program
New York State Radiologic Technology License or valid temporary license
Valid BLS Certification
ARRT Certification when eligible
Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
Ability to push, pull, and lift patients and equipment
Standing, walking, and computer use for extended periods
Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions

Responsibilities

Perform CR and DR X-ray procedures
Assist with Fluoroscopy, Bone Density, C-arm, pain management, and Interventional Radiology procedures
Communicate clearly with patients regarding medical history and exam expectations
Accurately enter and verify patient and exam data in RIS and PACS systems
Verify imaging orders prior to exams
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Perform quality control and quarterly quality assurance testing
Support fellow technologists and other departments as needed
Restock supplies and maintain inventory across applicable sites
