Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Applied Science, Radiologic Technology from an ARRT-approved program
• New York State Radiologic Technology License or valid temporary license
• Valid BLS Certification
• ARRT Certification when eligible
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to push, pull, and lift patients and equipment
• Standing, walking, and computer use for extended periods
• Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions

Responsibilities

• Perform CR and DR X-ray procedures
• Assist with Fluoroscopy, Bone Density, C-arm, pain management, and Interventional Radiology procedures
• Communicate clearly with patients regarding medical history and exam expectations
• Accurately enter and verify patient and exam data in RIS and PACS systems
• Verify imaging orders prior to exams
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Perform quality control and quarterly quality assurance testing
• Support fellow technologists and other departments as needed
• Restock supplies and maintain inventory across applicable sites
