About The Position

Anderson Clinic is currently seeking a skilled and motivated X-Ray Technologist to join our team. This role is responsible for operating X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment to assist radiologists and/or physicians in diagnosing and treating disease and injury. Sign-On Bonus: We are offering a $2,000 sign-on bonus to qualified candidates.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in radiological technology from accredited X-ray technician program.
Current state X-Ray Technology certificate or license.
One to three years of experience as X-ray technologist, preferably in medical practice environment.

Nice To Haves

American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
Protect patients, staff, and self from unnecessary radiation exposure.
Operate radiographic equipment following established safety and care procedures.
Select and adjust proper ionizing factors for diagnostic accuracy.
Accurately position patients and perform X-rays as requested by physicians.
Develop and process radiological film; verify image clarity and retake if necessary.
Distribute images and results to appropriate medical personnel.
Maintain accurate patient records, logs, and required reports.
Conduct equipment checks and routine maintenance to ensure compliance with regulations.
Order and maintain radiographic supplies and inventory.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
