About The Position

RWJBH Orthopedics is seeking a full-time X-Ray Technologist to join their team in River Edge, NJ. The role involves performing X-ray procedures in a multispecialty orthopedic practice, supporting a team of providers and physician assistants. The position requires flexibility to cover additional locations as needed and involves handling a high volume of X-ray examinations daily.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited radiology program.
• Must be registered through The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography.
• Must hold a NJ state license as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of relevant work experience
• Additional knowledge of leg length series
• EPIC knowledge
• Experience with Carestream XR machine and Horizon Health Care PACS
• Experience with non-weightbearing patients/stretcher patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray procedures for various orthopedic specialties including Sports Medicine, Trauma, and Joint Replacement.
• Handle over 40 X-ray examinations per day, ensuring multiple views are captured as required.
• Work collaboratively with a team of 8-12 providers and 5-6 physician assistants.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
