Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiology (RT) program
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Current First Aid/ CPR certification from recognized program (American Red Cross, etc.) required or completed within first 60 days of employment.
  • Certification for Federal and Non-Federal Drug Testing and Breath Alcohol Testing required or completed within first 60 days of employment.
  • Must be able to communicate through written instructions and complete routine written logs and reports.
  • Must be able to comprehend and follow verbal instructions, as well as respond to audible stimuli.

Responsibilities

  • Perform timely and quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
  • Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment.
  • Perform drug screens, urinalysis and other in-house lab tests including processing specimens for reference laboratories.
  • Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs.
  • Work closely with the Center Administrator, Medical Staff, Front Office Specialist and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure occupational client’s preferences followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.
  • Cross trained for front desk duties to include greeting patients, checking patients in/out on computer, and of day close out procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks and records release.
  • May be required to work alternate shifts and may be required to float to other clinic locations.
  • Work with all clinic staff to ensure efforts are coordinated and that patients receive high quality care and services.
  • Assist with general patient care when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
