About The Position

The Diagnostic Technologist (Radiographer) is fully competent to perform all radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures for the diagnosis of specific diseases or conditions.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited program in the radiologic sciences.
• ARRT (Radiography) registered, or registry eligible.
• Maintain a current AHA BLS certification through Cape Fear Valley Training and Development department.
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred.
• New graduates may apply that are ARRT registered or registry eligible.
• Registry eligible new graduates must be registered by ARRT in Radiography within twelve months of hire date.
• Demonstrate positive interpersonal skills.
• Verbal and written skills required.
• Demonstrate good patient care.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development and understand the range of treatment needed for all age groups.
• Provide care based on the patient’s developmental need.
• Experienced in the treatment of and interacts effectively with patients of all ages.
