Requirements

• Associate’s degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification (R) required.
• Current state licensure (if applicable).
• BLS/CPR certification.
• 1+ year of experience as an X -Ray Tech (preferred, but new grads may be considered).
• Strong technical skills with imaging equipment and safety protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and patient -care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X -ray procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Position patients properly and operate imaging equipment to capture high -quality images.
• Ensure patient safety by following radiation protection protocols and maintaining proper equipment use.
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Assist in maintaining and calibrating imaging equipment for optimal performance.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses.
• Provide compassionate care, explaining procedures to patients and addressing any concerns.
