About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician / Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in a dynamic clinical setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, a commitment to patient safety, and the ability to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T.)
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification required
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Strong understanding of radiographic procedures and safety protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team setting

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders
Prepare, position, and instruct patients to ensure accurate imaging and comfort
Operate radiologic equipment and adjust technical factors for optimal image quality
Adhere to radiation safety standards to protect patients, staff, and self
Follow infection control policies and maintain a sterile environment
Evaluate images for quality and repeat procedures when necessary
Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records
Monitor radiology equipment performance and report malfunctions
Maintain inventory of imaging supplies and ensure proper stock levels
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Participate in ongoing education and maintain required certifications
