About The Position

USPI Aloe Surgical Center is hiring a X-Ray Tech PRN. USPI Aloe Surgical Center is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. The X-Ray Tech performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Able to read, write, type, and perform calculations at a level generally acquired through completion of high school plus six months or less training beyond high school.
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
• Familiar with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• State Department of Health - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist.
• Basic Life Cardiac Support.
• Graduate of an approved school of Radiology.
• Currently licensed in the state.
• CPR required, advanced life support certification required.
• One year experience required in an intra-operative setting.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
• Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
• Active state license and ARRT license required upon hire.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician.
• Prepare reports and keep records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other members of the health care team.
