Precision Imaging Centers is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) to support our growing team at our Mandarin center in Jacksonville, Florida. Requirements
- ARRT(R) certification
- Current Florida Radiologic Technologist license
- BLS certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Take patient medical history prior to exams
- Correctly interpret physicians’ imaging instructions
- Explain procedures to reduce patient anxiety and gain cooperation
- Position patients and use immobilization devices to obtain optimum views
- Set technical parameters, operate X-ray equipment, and monitor image data
- Evaluate images for technical quality and determine if repeats are needed
- Assist radiologists with procedures such as arthrograms
- Support other modalities or departments as needed
- Restock supplies
- Routinely sanitize exam and waiting rooms
